Logo Project: Storyboard
Here’s the storyboard we have for the Plugged In Logo Assignment that we are doing in Maya. We followed the storyboard very closely, and at the end of the animation, It looked just like how we originally had it on the storyboard. I can’t really say that much changed since nothing did, including the colors.
Plugged In Logo Project: Final
Today, we finished our Plugged In Logo assignment in Maya 2020. After Seth finished up animating the logo, it was my job to begin adding the sounds. Finding the right audio was difficult, as well as editing some of it, but eventually it all came out nicely in the end. I feel like the hardest …
Bifrost Tutorials: 5
This is my final animation for the Maya Syrup Bifrost tutorial. This turned out much better than excepted, with the syrup looking super realistic! With the lighting and skybox I put in there, if I were to make an actual proper food model in the middle, I could probably convince someone that it’s real!

The process getting here hasn’t been too hard, however I feel like I may have accidentally added a …

Today, I started working on our second Bifrost Fluid tutorial in Maya. So far, I have the scene made for it. I was feeling a little bit more artistic that day, so I wanted to make it a little bit more detailed than just a sphere floating in a void. I have the proper objects …
Bifrost Tutorials: 1
Today, I finished one of our Bifrost tutorials in Maya. In this, We created a wheel that spins while a liquid falls on top of it. This liquid acts very realistically, and moves in the same direction as the wheel when it collides. This wasn’t that hard to do, really straightforward and simple actually, and …
Logo Project: 2
Over the past few days, there has been more progress on our Logo Project in Maya. So far, we have two prototypes, a Neon Sign, and the Animated Logo. This is the Logo, Seth has been able to model it, and now I’m hypershading it. To my knowledge, there hasn’t been any issues, other than …
Updating the SkillsUSA Project: 3
I have begun to try and render out the final scene for my SkillsUSA Project in Maya. I have been able to fully add my changes that I’ve wanted, although I’m still trying to fiddle around with a few more things like the size of the stem bumps and stuff around that sort. From what …
