Today, I worked more on my Mini Man 2. Currently, I have completed his body, head, and legs, so on all I need to finish are the feet and the arms. I’m happy with how this is turning out currently, as I am not having any big issues like I had last time, which is good.
Today, I started working on the Mini Man 2 assignment. What we have to do, is remake the Mini Man that we made in our first year of animation, but this time, we rig it afterwards. So far, I’m not too sure how mine is going to turn out, since I’m not really sure if I remember how to do most of the stuff in the tutorial.
Today, I was able to render, edit, and finish my Ball Bounce Environment assignment. I’m really happy with how it came out, my favorite being how the Log looks and how the ball bounced off of the wooden planks. What I did today was that I finally rendered the ball (not without some issues though), but was able to get it to look all good and finalized just in time for the deadline. The things I’m not happy with are how the textures look like they are repeating too much (on the fences and grass), how the camera switches, and how the ball bounces off of the log. The one thing I would have changed with this assignment was just the amount of detail I put into it, as I would have loved to put a sandbox or something in the background.
Today I worked more on my Ball Bounce. I pretty much have completed it at this point, I only need to fix some issues and render it and I’ll be good. The things I have any issues with is the lack of details I have in the animation, but the core still looks really good, and I’m super happy about it.
Today, I worked on and got even closer to starting the animation for the ball bounce. I was able to texture not only the fence, but also the ball, as well as some more, which (mostly) turned out pretty good. If there’s one thing I wish I could’ve done better, it would have been the fence and ball texturing, since they turned out pretty weird for almost no reason.
Today, I worked more on my Ball Bounce Animation. I haven’t yet started working on the animation yet, since I’m still adding objects and texturing, but it’s not far off. What I did today was work on texturing and making the log that the ball will be bouncing off of, which came out really good, other than the fact that I accidentally turned it into glass multiple times over.
Today, we started our Ball Bounce Environment assignment. While I haven’t started making the animation itself, I have started and made both the Plan, the Storyboard, and the Asset List. I feel pretty stressed about this assignment so far, as it seems like we have so much to do in such a little time, but hopefully everything will go well. Even though I haven’t done much, I still feel like I’ve done a decent job so far. Getting the base idea of how I’m gonna make the animation pan out in one day is a pretty decent feat, I just hope that I’ll be able to do it in time.
Today, I finished my 12 Principles of Animation. Out of all the ones I did, Appeal was the one I was least looking forward too, but it ended up being my best and most favorite one to do. Most of them don’t look the best, and I honestly wish I did better, but we are rushed, so I wasn’t able to perfect them. I felt good throughout most of this, but just felt very under pressure, other or less it all turned out good! The one thing I would have changed in this entire assignment would have been my first one Squash and Stretch, as I screwed up half way through and couldn’t fix it do to lack of time.
Today I continued working on my 12 Principles of Animation. I was able to get a lot done and I’m hoping to finish tomorrow. The thing I’m most upset about is how choppy or unsmooth some of the animations are, but there is nothing much I can do about it.
Today I started working on the 12 Principles of Animation Animation Assignment. What I’m doing, is that I’m animating all 12 principles Principles of Animation, and so far I got 4. The thing I’m struggling the most with is just getting everything to flow correctly.
