Pirate Final Animation: 16

Today, we have gotten more done on our Pirate Final Animation in Maya. So far, the lights that were causing previous issues have been fixed, as we figured out that the issue was just the bump mapping being the wrong type on the ship’s texture. Another thing that has been fixed is the UV Mapping on parts of the ship, so it now looks better and looks almost completely seamless.

Today, I was able to get even more done, but also encounter some issues with the Lighting in out Maya Final Animation. For the issues that were problematic last time, I was able to quickly and easily fix them. However, a new problem arose with the lights, as they currently do not shine properly anymore in every direction. We haven’t figured out the issue yet, but hopefully we will soon.

Today, I was able to start putting more lights into Mya for our final animation. From what I’ve done so far, everything seems to be going good. The only problem I’ve noticed is the wood textures not looping good, and the pole in the middle having a messed up UV, but that’s all. I think this shouldn’t be too much of a problem to deal with, and I can probably fix it by tomorrow.

Today, we were able to get more done in the Maya Final Animation for our Final. I was able to start preparing the scene some more, changing some sizes, and the most important, fixing the extremely dark lighting. While I was going about doing this, Madison continued to work on the people, beginning to texture, and Seth, got stuff prepared for later. Michael continued working on objects.

Today, I’ve continued to get more models and objects into our scene so we can get ready for Animating for our Pirate Final Animation in Maya 2020. While Seth is finishing up on the Ship, I imported some random objects we could have floating in and around the water. We also have a Lantern in th scene, which can help light some stuff up since the scene is extremely dark.

Today, I was able to get more done on my “Kraken” in Maya. The big thing I was able to do was finally fix the god forsaken texture at the top of the Zucchini. While the model itself still doesn’t look good, I was finally able to give it a non puke yellow look and make it more appealing visually in a scene. Meanwhile, Madison continue working on Weight Painting and UV Mapping the people, and Seth worked on the Ship’s textures.

(ignore the drowning baby). Today, I was able to get more done with my Water in our Pirate Final Animation. We decided as a group that the base project would be the water, so now I’m getting the scene ready for importing. I made the length of the water larger in order to fit the whole scene, and I added an ocean floor for reflectiveness, but the water is too thick so you can’t even see through it. Seth has continued to work on his ship, now starting on the texturing, Madison is working with weight painting, and Michael has been creating a lantern to help light up the dark scene.
